My last semester

Well, during the first semester I studied five courses related to psychology, they were: first, Psychology of work and organizations, in this class I learnt the value of human capital in any type of organization, by human capital I mean to feel identified with the values and aims, being compromised and also understand that every person in this "work chain" is important. Second, during Community Psychology I was interested about the "Institutional world" and the "Life world", how different they were and how they affect our every day life as an individual and as a community. Third, during Clinical Psychology teachers and invited psychologists talked about the four principal approaches of our discipline, also we had some visits to CAPS so we had the opportunity to watch a "real" interview with patients. Fourth, in this class Educational Psychology I learnt about integration of all students considering their abilities and difficulties, the relation between teaching and learning and how our educational system works. Fifth, during Legal Psychology I learn how the judicial power works, also how victims should be treated in trial.

I'm not really into sports but when I feel motivated I go jogging around my block and go bicycle with my bests friends. In my free time I watched movies and series with my older sister, I visited family and friends, played guitar (I have to remark I'm not professional) and spent some time on the internet.

I think the main challenge I had to face was we (my partners and I) had problems to find organizations or people to interview because they said they were too busy or uninterested. On the other side, I think the strike affected in a negative way the better learning of this last semester, so I think that's a recurrent problem at our college.

At last but not least, I'm really angry and sad by the fact the government still do not do something about the students strike. Since I'm in this university they have not think about any solution. I think Chile needs to understand the power is on us! we have to make the changes, they have to hear our needs and do something about it, that's their job.
